Septic-Friendly Reminder
Our cabins are on septic systems, so we provide toilet paper that is safe for cabin use. Please use the toilet paper supplied in your cabin and avoid flushing outside toilet paper, wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or other products. We appreciate your help in protecting the system.

Guest Conduct, Refusal of Service, and Removal Policy
Under Minnesota Statute Section 327.73, innkeepers have the explicit right to refuse service or evict individuals who threaten the safety, peace, or well-being of the property, owners, employees, or other guests. This includes situations where a guest or visitor:
- Fails or is unable to pay for accommodations or services
- Acts in a disorderly, intoxicated, or disruptive manner
- Damages or threatens to damage resort property
- Violates federal, state, or local laws
- Is reasonably believed to be engaging in illegal activity, including unlawful use of controlled substances or underage alcohol consumption
- Possesses items that may pose a danger to others
- Violates clearly posted resort rules or policies
Oak Point Resort reserves the right to refuse accommodations or services or to remove any guest or visitor meeting the above conditions, as permitted by law.
If a guest has prepaid for accommodations and is required to leave under these circumstances, any unused portion of the stay will be refunded as required by Minnesota law.
By booking or staying at Oak Point Resort, guests agree to comply with all applicable laws and resort policies. Failure to do so may result in immediate removal from the premises.
Reservation Policy
Deposits - A $200 deposit reserves your cabin.
Departure - All guests are responsible for departure cleaning. Please ensure your cabin is clean prior to leaving. Cleaning policy posted in each cabin, dirty cabins will be subject to cleaning fee starting at $125.
Guests are financially responsible for confirmed reservations on all cabin/boat/pontoon reservations.
Extra person fee = $50 per person/night or $155 per person/week
All Visitors must check in at the lodge. Day fee = $10/per person
Pay by Cash, Check, Visa, or MasterCard (There is a 2.6% surcharge for credit card payments in person, via phone surcharge is 3.7%.) Returned checks will have a $50 fee applied.
Cancellations - Deposits may be refunded when the cabin is rebooked during your reservation time, minus $50 administration fee. Cancellations 30 days or less of reservation will not be refunded.
May - October Check-in: after 3:00 pm (no early arrivals) No arrivals after 8 pm allowed.
Check-out: before 9:00 am (no late departures)
November - March Check-in: after 1:00 pm / Check-out: 9:00 am (no late departures)
Pet Policy - Dogs Only
Daily $30.00 Weekly $185.00 / per pet / 2 pets per cabin allowed.
Any pet not listed when making reservations will be charged an extra fee of $300.
Our policy - Dogs checked in are checked in to your specific cabin only during your stay. If your dog enters another cabin during your stay (family / friends cabin), that cabin will have a dog fee applied to their stay.
All dogs must be on a leash and you must clean up after them.
Dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the cabin or porch. No dogs allowed on furniture or beds. Any damage done to the inside or outside you will be held liable. These policies are here to provide respect/comfort for all guests. The fees help cover the cost of extra cleaning and for incoming guests who may suffer from dog allergies. No cats please.

Winter Season cabins available
Winter season starting November - March and check in time of 1:00 pm.
November 2026 through March 2027 we will have 3 cabins available. Wolf or Loon will have a 3 bedroom rate with 1.5 baths and 6 beds or as a 2 bedroom rate with 1 bath and 4 beds. Reunion cabin will be a 3 bedroom only during this winter season, 2 baths with 5 beds and sleeper sofa. Links to cabins below.
